Joan Gennarini is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist, Reiki Master, and Graduate of Cayce/Reilly School of Massotherapy - Virginia Beach, VA.

She founded Rekindled Spirits in 2004 to assist her clients with their wellness journey through a wide array of Therapeutic Massage Techniques, including Trigger Point, Cranial Sacral, Prenatal, Manual Lymph Drainage, and relaxing Swedish Massages. Having left a career in the corporate sector, she understands the stress and toll from a sedentary lifestyle that impacts a person’s body and their well-being.

Gennarini is extremely conscientious, offering compassionate and supportive care in a way that honors the unique needs of each of her clients. Every aspect of Gennarini’s work is rooted in her greatest value: service to others. Listening to her clients’ bodies, tuning into their specific needs, unwinding their muscle tension, and guiding clients along their wellness path, is truly the “essence” of Rekindled Spirits.

In Joan’s free time, she plays the flute to soothe her soul and loves Tai Chi for everyday balance and meditation.

Joan is available for private sessions, community wellness/appreciation events, and/or private parties.
